USC Health News featured a study “Cannabis Surveillance With Twitter Data: Emerging Topics and Social Bots” done by researchers from SOMA lab. The study provides an analysis of cannabis-related posts on Twitter and found that social bots regularly perpetuated unsubstantiated- health claims on Twitter, compared to non-bots.
