An international group of scientists, led by Abderahman Rejeb, carried out a holistic bibliometric and network analysis of Instagram research, illustrating the dynamic evolution from 2013 to 2021. Their study identified Jon-Patrick Allem and colleagues as major contributors to the field of Instagram research specifically in the areas of physical and mental health.
